Postscript: Reflections of the reunion. In the words of an attending veteran,
Julio, I wasn't sure how the reunion would be, but it was a very rewarding experience. It really
meant a lot to me, to have my wife, and one of my daughters with me. I think they have a little
better understanding of my time in Korea, and what our mission was. My daughter told me that the
whole D.C. experience and the reunion gave her a renewed sense of respect and admiration for our
veterans and men and women of the military. She said that she would no longer take her freedom
for granted, and that she knows the price of freedom is not free, and that she is very thankful for all
the sacrifices the men and women of the military have made.--Terry Lewis
Brothers: A great round of applause to the Lewises.--Julio
