Views from the
The Blue Lancer Boulevard
Scenes on the BLV road midway the Main Gate and Parade Ground
This photo was taken facing southwest toward the Queen with former location of recreation
area and Brigade Headquarters at distant right. Left of the channel and up the foothills is the
former location of the A and B Quonsets. Between the boulevard and the hills of Easy is The Strip
This photo was taken from the BLV Boulevard facing west. This IS the LAST of the Quonsets
that once billeted the C Company troops. Other Quonsets would be located at the second tier that is
clearly visible behind the structure. The 702nd Maint. Bn. was quartered at the top-most tier behind the
wire outside the photo. Various Blue Lancers each of different time eras, probably haunt this, their
one time home.
This photo was taken facing southwest with Radio Hill at the upper left corner.
ABOUT FACE: This photo was taken facing due north toward the Main Gate. Major
Fotheringham's car (Ski's son-in-law) is in the foreground.
